Zions Bancorporation’s is looking for a Business Continuity Plan Coordinator to work in our or Phoenix, AZ, or West Valley, UT location. The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience to:
  • Develop, present, and administer annual Business Continuity Plan tests.
  • Responsible for coordinating and administering the business impact analysis effort to meet business continuity policy.
  • Coordinate with Business
  • Continuity Planning Manager to develop an overall strategy, methodology, and implementation of business continuity plans.
  • Provide ongoing incident/emergency management assistance as required during an incident.
  • Maintain an on-call status 24 hours a day.
  • Maintain competency in required software applications.
  • Assist and train users on the utilization of business continuity software as required.
  • Follows and ensures compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Provides oversight of first line compliance to business continuity policy.
  • Ability to manage detail-oriented projects with structured deadlines.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field, and some experience in business resumption planning or directly related experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
  • Certifications are preferred- ABCP, CBCP, BCCP, CBCI
  • Basic knowledge of business continuity plans, concepts, methodology and regulatory requirements.
  • Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all management/non-management levels.
  • Leadership ability to influence others to achieve desired goals/results.
  • Ability to respond calmly in a stressful environment created during emergency situations.
  • Must have strong working knowledge of PC applications including Microsoft applications.
  • Knowledge of Fusion Framework or Salesforce applications is preferred.
  • Proficient at multi-taking and prioritizing projects to meet established deadlines.
