We are currently seeking an Information Security Engineer – Vulnerability Management as part of our Enterprise Information Security department.  Enterprise Information Security (EIS) is integrated with the Enterprise Technology and Operations division (1100+ technical people) at Zions Bancorporation.  EIS is responsible for enabling secure innovation and business growth for 10,000+ employees across 11 states. EIS is undergoing rapid growth and we are focused on creating a relevant program that will enable our organization’s long-term success. As an Information Security Engineer – Vulnerability Management, you will play a key role in identifying and reporting vulnerability information across the enterprise.

 

The Information Security Engineer – Vulnerability Management will:

  • Act as a key contributor to the Cyber Vulnerability Management team.
  • Manage oversight and operational responsibility for scanning infrastructure including appliance configurations, scan policies, agents, authentication and tool administration.
  • Coordinate with resource and application owners to ensure remediation efforts are prioritized based on an enterprise risk-based approach.
  • Ensure that CVM processes and procedures align with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Present vulnerability management metrics and data to various stakeholders, including senior leadership, IT teams, and business units in a clear and concise manner.
  • Participate in audits and assessments and assist with the development of audit responses and remediation plans.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of related professional experience.
  • 2+ years leading/mentoring technical staff in an Enterprise Cyber Vulnerability Management program.
  • Hands-on technical experience with one or more Security Vulnerability Tools such as Tenable, Rapid 7 or Qualys
  • Effective interpersonal, communication and leadership skills to influence operational changes, drive collaboration, and maximize adoption of new ideas, tools and practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences from technical to executive management.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills with a successful track record of managing expectations, delivering results, and meeting milestones and deadlines.

 

 

Location:

This position can be located 100% remote within the United States or located at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.

 

Pay Range:

Engineer II - $90K – $120K

Engineer III - $110K - $150K

(Annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience and location)
