Zions Bank has just opened an opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Group Manager based in the headquarters office downtown in Salt Lake City, Utah.
What will your day look like? You will be:
Manages the marketing and communication strategies for the company.
Areas of responsibility may include interactive marketing, branding, public relations, internal and external communications, advertising, social media, retail merchandising, direct response marketing, sponsorships and events, and community outreach.
Integrates strategies to achieve a unified approach and voice of the company.
Establishes relevant objectives and programs related to marketing and communication strategies.
Consults with and advises top management on the marketing and communication aspects of all major company activities.
Ensures internal clients/departments receive support through press release generation, copywriting, messaging, content development, and event execution.
Manages key vendor and other third-party relationships.
Evaluates effectiveness of marketing and communication programs.
Keeps informed on competitive situations and new, successful ideas and methods.
Who should apply? We want someone who has:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in finance, business, marketing or a related field and 6+ years experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
Senior level managerial and motivational, budgeting and project management experience required.
Considerable working knowledge of all aspects of marketing and communication strategies and tactics, including interactive marketing, online banking, and public relations. Must also be familiar with banking products.
Ability to manage large projects and a complex budget and agile product management/development. Knowledge of social media and brand sentiment tracking tools.
Must have good management, organizational, and both written and oral communication skills.
Ability to set and maintain high quality work standards. Ability to lead a group.
Ability to deal effectively with people in various job capacities.
Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving.
