NBAZ’s Treasury Management division is the company’s number one fee income source and includes Treasury, Merchant Services, and Investment Services. NBAZ TM manages an annual revenue stream of $12-$15MM, producing $2.5MM new revenue annually!
Operating under minimal direction, the TM Sales Consultant designs and executes strategic plans for the acquisition of new treasury management and depository business, to include making sales calls from self-sourced opportunities, meeting customer needs, and generating new revenue for the bank.
Essential Functions:
- Increase our small business and commercial client base through consistent sales call efforts while establishing trust and rapport with prospects and clients.
- Develop partnerships with Relationship Managers to jointly generate and grow a profitable business. Responsible for multiple lines of business or industry segments ranging from simple to complex treasury management needs.
- Work with internal partners to ensure successful implementation, product ramp-up and accurate pricing/billing. Partner with Zions Bancorp corporate partners on product, sales and operations initiatives.
- Manage and ensure timely and accurate pipeline reporting.
- Plan and actively participate in public speaking opportunities that generate brand awareness.
- Use internal/external sources to identify customers who are loan only or who bank with us or who use another bank as primary AND depository customers who are not currently using any TM products (not currently being worked by any TMO).
- Self-source customers in industries known to be primarily deposit focused (property management, title companies, government, technology).
Qualifications:
Related college degree or equivalent work experience are required; requires a minimum of 1-3 years of Treasury Management sales experience.
- CTP and AAP credentials a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to operate under minimal supervision; willingness and ability to travel within the state.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills essential; working knowledge of general banking.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are a must for representing NBAZ in diverse environments.
- Report preparation and development, organizational planning, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of the bank’s products and services are also required.
- Other duties as assigned.
